Wedding attire is important because it shows what type of wedding will be held. Some couples decide the attire based on the location. If you’re having a beach wedding, it’s appropriate to make the attire less formal for guests to be more comfortable. A less formal wedding only has a low percentage compared to couples having a formal wedding. As for them, it is more appropriate to make it formal and extravagant.

For the Bride:

You finally said yes to the man of your dreams, and your wedding preparation excites you even more. Choosing your wedding gown can really leave you in a dilemma because there’s a lot of beautiful choices. Here are different styles of formal wedding gowns for you to consider

• A-line Wedding Gown

Basically, this gown has an A-shape skirt. It is normally fitted on top of your waist to highlight your upper body

• Ball Gown

Like Cinderella’s gown, this style is puffy like a ball in the skirt area. You use a petticoat to make it look wider.

• Sheath Silhouette Wedding Gown

This style looks simpler than a ball gown and A-line. It’s a more fitted style to give a highlight to your full body. This style will make you look elegant.

For the Groom:

If you’re a groom, you should also wear the best for your soon-to-be wife. Since it doesn’t cost a lot of time to decide on a groom, you should consider wearing a different color and style. If the participants are wearing black, you might want to wear white as long as it matches your bride’s taste for fashion.

• White tie or Formal Attire

For Female Guests:

This attire is considered the most formal of all wedding dress codes. You have to wear a long evening gown with elegant makeup. You can add to your outfit jewelry to make you look more fashionable. For your footwear, you must use a closed shoe stiletto that matches the color of your wedding guest gown to make look more formal

For Male Guests:

For men, it’s much simpler. They must wear a long jacket (must follow the color required), a bow tie, and formal black shoes.

 

• Black tie or Semi-Formal Attire

For Female Guests:

Since this is semi-formal attire, It is not required that you wear a glamorous gown. You can wear a cocktail dress or a simpler gown. You can also communicate with the bride on the length you can wear

For Male Guests:

Men can wear a tuxedo and a bow tie for this attire, you can partner this with black leather shoes.

• Casual Attire

This attire is usually for day events. In this case, Only the VIPs are required to wear formal attire while some guests are allowed to wear what they are comfortable at.

For Female Guests:

A simple dress will do or a casual top and slacks are fine, you can wear wedge footwear to partner your dress.

For Male Guests:

They can wear a polo and tuck it in with their pants. Make sure to still wear formal shoes so you would still look classy for the wedding.
